The Caipirissima is a rum variation on the Caipirinha. It keeps lime, sugar, and crushed ice, but uses rum instead of cachaça. In flavor, the drink moves closer to rum sours: softer, sweeter in impression, and less grassy than the classic cachaça-based Caipirinha.
