Description:

The Suffering Bastard was created by Joe Scialom in Cairo during the Second World War. It was designed as a bracing drink for tired guests and servicemen. The flavor combines the dryness of gin, the wine-like depth of brandy, lime, and the spice of ginger beer. It is a strong but refreshing highball with a distinctive wartime story.
