Soda Water

Description:

Soda water is water charged with carbon dioxide. In cocktails it adds little flavor of its own, but opens the drink, making it longer, lighter, and fresher. Bubbles change how flavor is perceived: the drink feels drier, colder, and lighter. Add carbonated components at the end and stir gently. Do not shake or over-stir soda and beer. Add them cold and close to service so the drink keeps its lift and dry feeling on the tongue.
