Description:

Prosecco is an Italian sparkling wine, usually light, fruity, and not overly yeasty. In cocktails it brings bubbles, freshness, and soft apple-pear fruit. Freshness matters with wine-based ingredients: oxidation quickly strips fruit and leaves rough bitterness. Keep the bottle sealed and chilled for consistent results. Keep an opened bottle cold and close it with a sparkling-wine stopper. Loss of bubbles quickly makes spritzes and Bellinis feel heavy.
