Orange Bitters

Orange Bitters is a concentrated bitters: an aromatic addition with bitter, spicy, or citrus notes. It is used in small doses because the flavor appears quickly. Bitters work like seasoning: they rarely need to be the main flavor, but without them a cocktail can feel flat. Add gradually, because excess bitterness cannot really be removed. Add bitters near the end of building a recipe and keep track of the dash count. Different dasher tops can give different intensity even when the written recipe looks identical.
