
Cream of Coconut is a thick sweetened coconut product with a rich coconut flavor. In drinks it adds sweetness, body, and creamy texture, making it especially important in Piña Colada and alcohol-free variations. It is not the same as coconut milk: cream of coconut is usually thicker and noticeably sweeter. If it is replaced with coconut milk, the drink will be thinner and will need separate sugar adjustment. Mix it well before use, as the fatty and sweet parts can separate. In thick tropical cocktails, the amount strongly affects both flavor and texture.
