A cocktail glass is a stemmed glass with a conical or rounded bowl, used for drinks served without ice. The long stem keeps the drink from warming in the hand, and the wide surface helps express aroma. Typical volume is 90-300 ml. It is used for drinks chilled beforehand in a shaker or mixing glass, such as the Daiquiri, Sidecar, Aviation, Cosmopolitan, and many sour-style cocktails.
